So cruel that Alzheimer’s stole your wonderful, feisty, funny, character and that arthritis took from you your ability to walk in nature. You battled the pain so bravely, I am relieved that you are released from that torture now. I will remember you for your love of gardening, of striding out with Roy daily in the countryside and by the sea, of going to the theatre and of course patch working our boys baby quilt and the Christmas tree decorations that are up right now. I can hear your voice asking ‘how are the boys?’ I can see the twinkle in your eye as you laugh at their latest antics, or tell me how your beloved Phip and family are doing in America. Your joy of life was really quite something Godmother.
